The Association:

Palisades Park Country Club is a gated community with approximately 200 homes located over some 600 acres of wooded dunes and bluffs along a half mile of Lake Michigan shoreline in southwest Michigan. Located six miles south of South Haven and eighteen miles north of St. Joseph/Benton Harbor, plenty of fun and relaxing activities are available nearby (check out the links section of this site).
Palisades offers great activities of its own.

Beaches -- Palisades Park boasts over 2 miles of beautiful private beaches, all within walking distance of the cottages. During the day, stroll down to join a game of volleyball or bean bag toss, toss a frisbee around, hunt for beach glass, or just soak up some sun! At night, there are often bonfires on the beach...a perfect spot to relax with a drink and sing along with the guitar.

Tennis Courts -- Palisades Park is home to 10 tennis courts, including 2 Har-Tru tennis courts, 2 hard courts (cement), and 6 clay courts. Play is first-come, first-serve! Don't have a partner or opponent? Just head down to the courts with your racket; regular players are always happy to meet a new challenger!

Soda Bar -- The Palisades Park Soda Bar is a local favorite, usually run by a member of Palisades Park. The menu is simple and affordable, and includes basic fare such as cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, french fries and curly fries. There's also delicious ice cream, milkshakes, ice cream floats, sundaes, and malts. Feeling nostalgic? Try an old-fashioned Vanilla Coke or Green River!

Clubhouse -- The Palisades Park Clubhouse is a casual day camp program available to Palisades Park residents, including owners, renters, and guests. It is a free service available for children ages 5-12. The Clubhouse is usually run by 2 college-age women from Palisades. It is open on weekdays, from 10am-1pm, and then for an evening session from 7pm-9pm. Morning activities include arts and crafts, sports, nature hikes, scavenger hunts, sandcastle building contests, and exciting games of Capture the Flag in the Palisades sand dunes. Stop by in the evening for ping-pong tournaments, teen nights, beach games, and movie nights. A weekly schedule of events is usually posted in various spots around Palisades.

The initiations fee for membership is still only $10,000 and Park dues are about $2,000 annually.
